c.    Collaboration on projects will be easy because students will be able to instant message and chat by video.

2.    There will be two other functions or appliances that student scan access on the web site.  The first one is a music player that students can put songs onto to listen to that will keep them focused on assignments.  The second appliance is a link called “Student Corner.”  The link will bring them to a chat room to hangout in when they are done.

3.  Besides two student links,  there will also be two educational functions.  There will be link to ASK.com so students can ask questions that are troubling them.  There will also be a link can have teacher voice clips that can help explain all.

5.  This site could be good for a Spanish class because the music could be in Spanish which could help students learn while concentrate.  Voice clips are good because Spanish needs to have good pronunciation.  Teachers could post voice clips of them speaking Spanish so students could have a reference to go to.  The chat rooms and “Student Corner,”  are ideal because they can ask each other questions about their work.

May 13, 2008

I went to the web site paintmap. It is a site where you can search for any type of art in the world. The home page has a map and any where you click it brings up numerous amounts of paintings done in the area. If you become a member then you are able to comment on any piece of art. This is an ideal site for young artists looking for examples. You can also upload your paintings at home if desired. There are currently 66 paintings with 18 different artists around the world. That is a basic overview of the web site.

Online Photo Editing

May 8, 2008

For my online photo editing project I used the three sites,  Picnik,  Photoshop Online,  and Splashup.  Picnik was preety easy to use.  It had the ability to add text to the picture.  Overall i would rate the site8/10.  Photoshop Online was also pretty easy to manage.  You could change color of the text which was a good advantage.  Ovrall 7/10.  Splashup was absolutely terrible and did not work.  It was confusing to manage.  Overall 2/10.

I sent you the two finished products to  your e-mail.
